mikeguttman
Hi Reuds; I just tried to start up my old CFS2 yesterday and received the same error. I suspect it may have to do with recent Windows Updates. If there is an easy fix someone knows of it would be nice. Regards, Mike G.

Your Reuds Maybe set it to compability mode for Windows 7 and set it to "run as an administrator" in properties, compatibility. Also install try installing the full directX9 (yes even if you have Windows 7 8 or 10). Wings Over Flanders Fields (and WOFF2) work fine in Windows 7,8,8.1,10 well and use cfs3 (although mega transformed of course).
