Elevator control erratic when running cfs2 with windows 7 home premium

Just reinstalled cfs2 on my computer. When flying aircraft will suddenly pitch down with no movement of joystick. As if elevator control is lost momemtarily. Any suggestions?

Have you tried to recalibrate your axis? It has been a problem for me a few times times until I completed the recalibration tool using a sidewinder precision pro, cfs 1 was real bad about it for me flying along and it would be like someone pushed the yoke forward. Usually when I was on the tail of someone id been in a dogfight with for a few minutes as my luck goes lol

I recalibrated and it seems to work a lot better. I will do so on a regular basis and see if continues to improve. Thanks. BTW you described the issue right on. As if someone pushed the yoke forward.
