bratfalken
There is a swedish commercial pilot Johan Wiklund, captain at Scandinavian Airlines flying Airbus normally, who is at the moment flying an old DH60 from Cape to Cape, (from North Cape in Norway to the south cape of Africa), he is at the moment in Dongola, Sudan/Africa and you can follow him on both Facebook and via his blog https://www.facebook.com/FlyingCapetoCape?fref=ts http://capetocape.net/ I'm just downloading a DH60 pack here and I hope to get something like his plane, but there aren't any pictures to see yet :) Johan has plans to take off in about one hour for Khartoum if you want to spot him on http://www.flightradar24.com you might see his plane SE-AMO as he uses a transmitter that shows position to a sattelite system, the system cannot get altitude so it allways shows 2500ft, but you can tell by his speed when he is flying, (normally between 45 and 80 knots) I find it interesting to view him on FR24 on one screen and using Google Earth on the other at the same time I'm learning about places I've never seen nor will see in real life! I flew his soon starting flight yesterday with the Piper Cub, but I wanted to see the right kind of plane in the future. He plans to land in Capetown on the 24th of October, so there is still time to spot him on his journey!
