Eclipse 550 for FSX (SE) + Question about X-Plane

Hello everyone,

https://www.flightsim.com/vbfs/showthread.php?269163-Eclipse-550-v-1-5-available-!

I've come across and I'm wondering how/when/if it can be ported to FSX. It's hard to believe there's no payware or freeware with good quality of this airplane on FSX. The closest thing is the "VLJ" from just flight but it doesn't appear to be well made and I don't know why they don't call if The Eclipse 500 since it's based on it.

My last resort is to buy X-Plane specifically for the 550 but I don't like it very much. It could be that I didn't spend enough time with the demo, but I couldn't find a flight planner like the one that comes with FSX. I also don't like how you can't bring up 2D panels within the 3D cockpit view.

What do I do?

Hello,

You can use the freeware Eclipse with the X-Plane demo:

http://www.aerobask.com/eclipse/media.php

http://www.x-plane.com/downloads/x-plane_10_demo/

Of course, even if you're restarting it very often, and install awesome sceneries, you'll not have enough time to enjoy it with a demo, but this will enable you to check all the details for this resort.

Happy flying. :pilot:

Yes I tried the free version on X-Plane and loved it. Don't mind paying for it on FSX or even buy X-plane to use it but X-Plane doesn't have a flight planner does it? I need a flight planner that estimates fuel burn and number of stops etc.
