NMLW Posted August 26, 2015 Share Posted August 26, 2015 East African Airways Flight 205 is a De Havilland DH-89A Dragon Rapide on a short trip from the British Protectorate of Zanzibar to Chake Chake, Pemba Island in the Zanzibar Archipelago (HTZA - HTPE). We have 25 gallons of fuel on board for the sixty seven mile flight. The total flight time is about 27 minutes. We have fair weather for the flight and we will be well below the light scattered cloud s. Our cruising altitude is 3,000 feet and our route takes us north, north east over Zanzibar, the Indian Ocean and on to Pemba Island and Chake Chake.
