PhantomTweak
Great looking pictures Aharon! Always loved that bird, but weren't they a bit...smokier? I'm just curious, I'm a nosey kinda guy :D Pat☺ [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Had a thought...then there was the smell of something burning, and sparks, and then a big fire, and then the lights went out! I guess I better not do that again! Sgt, USMC, 10 years proud service, Inactive reserve now :D

PhantomTweak
True, the lower and slower, the smokier they were. That was my father's favorite plane when UAL was using them so extensively. He was a pilot for UAL for a very long time indeed, and flew most of UAL's fleet at one time or another. I got pretty familiar with DC-8, especially the -63. Thanks again for some great pictures!
