~A2A Piper Comanche first flight~

Recommended Posts

What a beauty this thing is. A real living breathing aircraft, she flies perfect with my new CH Eclipse yoke (note to anyone thinking about buying a Saitek Cessna yoke, don't).

Now, back to this stunning aircraft from A2A...

Thanks Roger, I know what you mean about the cockpit, I actually think they did a better job with the Cherokee, but this thing is so smooth and fighter-like to fly, reminds me of the Spitfire in some ways actually, especially with that gorgeous engine tone.

Steve, I'm very impressed! What a beauty! Can you give us a few more particulars, like engine size, does she fly in FS-9 and FSX, or just FSX, what cost, what's included in the package? Thanks, my friend.

WOW, I have got to get my hands on A2A's products. This Comanche looks awesome! P3D makes it look even more appealing :)

Thanks Jan and Adam appreciate it guys!

Hey KCD, well she is a little pricey but this is no ordinary aircraft addon. It's A2A standard :)

Froogle has a good first impression video here>>

The Comanche is like owning a spitfire, a Mooney and a V8 muscle car all rolled into one! EVERYTHING is detailed here from the varying engine tone and vibrations to the modelling of different propellers.. You can even change the tyres which have their own affect on how the aircraft handles on the ground.. You can even sound proof the cockpit, change the oil etc.. All this is not new if you own any of the other A2A aircraft (I have the Cherokee and C172 which are equally as good as this), I do feel though, this has the best flight model of any aircraft I've ever flown in FS thus far - This is right on par with the Real Air Duke.

So in other words, get it!! I may take her for a tour sometime in the future.

It should be noted that N6229P, the plane in these pictures is Scott Gentile's personal plane.

Scott is the one who started A2A. For both, the planes and the after sales service, it doesn't get any better than A2A.

For those who have been on the A2A forums, it is obvious that Scott and his team care deeply about the products they release and the people who buy those products. They treat every customer as being a part of the A2A family.

Wonderful looking plane and you show it off very well in your post. I have my eye on this beauty but will hold off getting it for another month or so. I am still enjoying the A2A Cessna 182. Jim

Spot on rudyjo that's why I wanted to take this one for a spin first :D

Thanks very much Jim, you won't be disappointed, I've just completed a run up to the Snowdonia from Wickenby and it's very fast in the cruise! I'm going to try a different prop with sound proofing next.

Thanks Larry, Cessna? This is a Piper ;)
