Thomas Ruth repaints not working properly.

It looks like you have not flipped the bmp textures before converting to dds, if you are using DXTbmp to convert the bmp textures to dds, you can do this by clicking on "Image" on the tool bar & selecting "Flip Image" then load the alpha channel & save as dds DXT5.

The paintkits already have the textures in dds.

And can you please explain the 'load the alpha channel' part with a bit more detail because I didn't see a button that tells DXT to do that and I am still a noob at this kinda stuff. :)

What you see there is a classic example of the texture not being flipped, everything should be upside down before you load it. Hit Flip Image and Alpha in DXTBMP. The alpha controls reflectivity, and you may not need to have it in all repaints. If you want to get an alpha channel from another repaint, open the repaint and click Export Alpha as BMP in the right hand alpha menu. Then open up the repaint you created and import the alpha channel you just exported.

If you do not have the alpha channel window displayed, click on "Prefs" on the DXTbmp toolbar & select "Display Alpha Channel" which will show the alpha channel of any textures that have an alpha applied & if no alpha has been applied, the window will display only white.
