Is this a good idea?

Recommended Posts

I am about to reinstall FSX and I read somewhere that you should install your add-ons on a separate drive from your main install, if possible. Supposedly it helps with permissions and all that. Is this sound advice?

I realize that many add-ons install INTO the FSX main folder but I'm talking about the ones that first install into their own directory.

Thanks.

The only benefit is it saves space on the drive. Just make sure FSX doesn't go on the C drive. I put everything related to FSX on the same drive that way I can easily have my anti-virus excluded from that drive.
