simulatorpro
Job Nicely done, congrat. Are you using a video projector? it is sharp. What brand and model? I like the way your cockpit is setup with the painted Saitek yoke,... Would like to see more pics on how you fix the overhead panel... Your cockpit doesn't looks like a 737 or 777... but more like a military heavy. Great!
dlaque1
Hi guys and thanks for the nice replys :) Ricardo are you still making 737 throttles...im very interested :) I will take more pics and maybe even a video of my setup. Im using a 70 inch led tv as a primary display. Overhead was inspired by buildaboeing.com,,,awesome site and a beautiful build !!! Using pmdgs 737ngx...active sky next...rex 4...vox atc..gsx ground services and FTX global...Spad for the radios and Linda for the switches. Using two dektop aviators USB interfaces giving me over 60 inputs...only have about 24 hooked up but will add more as funds become available, they work flawlessly...sim never looked better...all this runningon my Alienware MX17R3 laptop...tweaked to the max and smooth almost everywhere!!!! Building a shell soon...here are some pics of my first attempt in 2006.

dlaque1
Hi Milo, I find the best setup was 3 monitors using a Matrox tripplehead. The projector i used was an older model but a huge image, the 70 inch led im using now is great !!! Now to enclose it, thats where the biggest bang comes from !!!!! Thanks for the reply :)
BlackeyCole
I saw were you said no to low budget. It looks very nice. Unless you have been fortunate and someone gave you all those parts you have something in it guanteed must more in time than money. What would you say you have tied up in the pc(s) hardware, software, special AC hardware etc?
dlaque1
I started in 2007 slowly buying the hardware and software. All together though it has been expensive but over a long period of time!!!! I think i have about $3500 invested in hardware....yikes :) Thats about 475 a year....i could spend thousands LOL :) Enclosing it seals the deal and adds so much to it !!!! porchpooch4
I really like what you are doing. I am starting off small with a C-172 simulator from plans I bought from SimSamurai for the CS-1 Stallion enclosure. The B737 is definitely on my wish list. I have been very fortunate to fly in some really nice B737 simulators at various parts of the world. The first picture was at a simulator in Bangalore India. Everything looked real except the yoke and pedals. The second B737 simulator was in Los Angeles CA. I will post these pictures in the gallery since they are quite large and will not post here.
