spirittoo
I will crash if I'm trying to land and the screen saver comes on. I don't have this in FSX. How do you get X Plane to disable the screen saver? tvieno
Have you tried turning off the screen saver from within Windows preferences? http://my.flightmemory.com/pic/tvieno.gifhttp://www.vatsimsigs.co.uk/Status/1136602.jpg
spirittoo
Well no ... I don't have to do anything for FSX, so I thought it would be the same for X Plane. I would have to keep changing the screen saver setting for X Plane ... don't like that idea. Thanks for posting. RobCL
Screen savers date back to the days when we all used CRT monitors. Lines, pictures etc. could burn into the phosphors leaving a shaddow image. Modern monitors dont suffer from this problem so screen savers are unneccessary, taking up valuable disc space and cpu cycles. My advice id don't use them. :-)
