pvarn Posted March 6, 2015 Share Posted March 6, 2015 Squawkbox is incompatible with FSX, P3D or FSX:SE. You need to use FSINN or Vpilot to fly online in Vatsim or IVAO. IT DOESNT EVEN RUN IN FSX! its a seperate outside programe. so I cant play in fullscreen mode (which i have to, as mine screen tears in windowed mode and looks unrealistic with a start bar staring at me). even in windowed mode you have to toggle blooming vpilot ever time you want to speak and this kills FSX sound, again totally killing realism. pvarn Posted March 6, 2015 Share Posted March 6, 2015 I use FSINN with FSX and Vatsim with full screen which has none of these problems. In FSINN I simply assign PTT buttons for voice and FSINN displays many possible configurable windows inside FSX full or windowed mode. I'm not seeing the complaints you have on the forums concerning VPilot (there are a LOT of people using it) so you may have have a graphics problem, add-on conflict, SP version or driver problem not common to most people. From what I've read, most people using FSX use it in Windowed mode though I prefer full myself, but not due to any technical problem or software compatibility/control issue. However, like you said, if you want to fly full screen, then FSINN is your best choice but it's far more complicated than SB or VPilot.
