surfkid
I purchased the IRIS Tactical Battlefield Air Lifter a few weeks ago. I (for the most part) love this model, however, I really didnt like the FDE to much. One person on another forum adequately put it "flying on auto pilot is great, hand flying becomes a challange"... adjustments I made should help to correct some things I liked better on my end. I wasnt sure if I was allowed to pasted the entire ac.cfg, so only the sections Ive modified and pasted below. Feel free to modify this as you feel / see fit. Let me know what you think and if you have any questions feel free to ask. fixed landing gear so that the mains are "in the wells" on the ground, aircraft now sits nose high as depicted in the videos / photos ive seen online "lightened" the brakes, no more sudden nose drops but I did notice that mains tend to "lock up" decreased roll and pitch amounts "decreased" wing area to reflect that of the real life aircraft decreased wing efficiency ( fully loaded a/c would climb at over 7k fpm) adjusted stall speeds accordingly adjusted max weight, empty weight, payload as per documents online INSTALLATION create a copy your original aicraft.cfg file (just incase you dont like this one) locate each individual sections below. replace the sections in your aircraft.cfg with the correct sections below. save. reload / refresh aircraft in fsx.
