jefferysitz
I think the pot has went out in my Pro Pedals. I checked with CH several months ago and they no longer carry replacement parts. Does anyone know where I might be able to purchase the pot? I have not cracked them open yet to see if I can find a number on it. Maybe CH's customer service can give me the part number at least. ViperPilot2
You'll probably need to find the Part # for the pot yourself; CH Customer Service wouldn't be helpful in that regard. There are several Electronics Parts Suppliers out there who would probably have the pot in stock, like Mouser, Digi-Key or Allied Electronics. These would be a much better option than 'The Shack', and probably less expensive, too. http://www.mouser.com/ http://www.digikey.com/ http://www.alliedelec.com/ Hope this helps! abrussell
Before you order a pot open the pedals and check for broken wires. I had a problem a few weeks ago where the right differential brake stopped working. The wire used inside is very fine and passes through a notch in a plastic post. The movement of the pedals flexes the wire at that point and it eventually breaks. I found this site with pictures on how to take it apart and put it back together again. Most helpful. Bruce http://www.svaf.net/index.php/forum/5-tech-talk/9479-assembly-of-the-ch-pedals-pictures The wires were so fine I was reluctant to solder the break so I twisted them and then applied a big glob of crazy glue. Worked like a charm.
