jefferysitz Posted November 26, 2014 Share Posted November 26, 2014 I have an intermittent problem with sound cutting out. It has happened on several different aircraft, both FSX and P3D. I will be flying along and everything will go quiet. ATC, engine, wind, everthing. This will stay that way anywhere from 5 to 10 seconds and then resume normally. vgbaron Posted November 26, 2014 Share Posted November 26, 2014 Onboard sound or dedicated card? Speakers, headset or both? Is the sim paused also or just the sound? In FSX uncheck pause on task switch. In P3D uncheck mute on lost focus. See if that helps. My computer has something which will sometimes steal focus, it has not been worth my trouble to track down. Probably there is no sound until I click something and bring focus back.
