My Asus G55vw has recently been replaced and the replacement has Windows 8.1 on it. On the original unit I had Windows 7 and FSX worked great. Now with Windows 8.1 it constantly crashes. Is there a fix for this? Below is from the event log.....

Thanks in advance..

Glad to hear it worked.

I saw your FSX is installed to the default location at C:\Program Files (x86) - if it is at all possible, you might consider uninstalling and then reinstalling to for instance C:\FSX, or if possible to a separate hard drive, to get around possible problems with add-ons and User Account Control - but that will be a LOT of work! If you're OK with the way it works now, then by all means leave it alone.
