Downloaded and installed as soon as it was released.

A bit of a problem with the coupon, as I could not find my "order number". Finally found that info in the C:\Flight1 folder and then all went well.

Thank goodness for Free Download Manager. Just cued them all up and went to sleep.

Haven't had a chance to play with the new lighting module, but everything else is working great and looks great.

I just got it today.

Do I need the Ground Environment X if I have a UTX?

UTX installs new textures along with other features, and GEX is about textures only, I assume if you have UTX you don't need GEX, correct?

No, that is not correct.

Read the posts on the scenery solutions website, it walks you through EVERY step you need to take involving UTX and GEX.

You do not HAVE to have GEX if you have UTX, you're right. But if you have it installed and are installing V.2 of UTX, there are steps to take to get everything right.

Howdy, I'm OLD and, even after playing FSX for 10+ years I still consider myself a novice, this upgrade was painless.

I installed V1.0 from a DVD and was able to easily use the coupon to get the lower price.

Being a novice, I think I see an improved scenery. Looks good. (so far)

Update: There are too many choices for tweaking for me to grasp. I'm going to wait and hope someone with more patience than me will lend their expertise with a "what-looks-best" tweaking guide. :o
