What this seems a bit different. Is it just fast jet pilots you need or are there other alternatives?

We have many Squadrons in the organisation at present, all of which have positions available.

 

For the Cargo Squadron we have C-17 and C130's, these are used for transporting Parts and equipment when on operation overseas, there are many requests for logistics, so you would be kept very busy. SQN: 70SQN

 

 

For the Air to Air refuelling, we have the A330-MRTT, where you would be required to be airborne during operations, remaining at a safe distance from the frontline, but near enough for when the Fast Jet guys need a very quick refuel. This also requires some tactical flying. SQN: 101SQN

 

For the Fast Jet guys, we at present have the F35B and Eurofighter Typhoon, These roles cary from Low level bombing missions, Combat air patrols, high and low level reconnaissance, High speed intercepts and protection details during high tension exercises. SQN: 617SQN, 801SQN, XISQN

 

For Awacs, we currently have the E-3D Sentry, who's main task is to not only fly in challenging environments and terrain, but to also be the eyes and ears, and air traffic control for the rest of the organisation in the sky. co-ordinating the Air to Air refuelling, monitoring fuel levels, Co-ordinating air strikes and intercepts, and overall command of the skies.

We have several Helicopter Squadrons, flying the Apache, Chinook and Lynx. Completing forward combat drops under cover of the Fast jets above. Transporting troops to the front line, Landing in extreme Terrain, and completing many different low level operations. SQN: 18SQN, 814SQN, 656SQN, 659SQN
