lookatmema
Hi all, I've just returned to FS'ing after a good few years. I've loaded my old FS2002 onto my PC and surprise, surprise it runs like a 2-legged dog. In the setup screen, the chosen aircraft has missing sections, and this doesn't change when flying. The response to control input is very slow. I've reduced all effects to the minimum and there's no improvement. Last time I flew FS2002 (about 2007!) I had a super home built PC. Now it's just a simple Dell Inspiron 530 with an additional graphics card, which was used for basic family stuff until now. The basic specs are - Intel Core 2 Duo E4500 2.20Ghz 4GB RAM (system only recognises 3GB) ATI Radeon HD2400 Pro 128MB Would an upgrade to the graphics card help? Or is this machine simply not capable of running FS2002? Any help would be much appreciated. :)
n406c
A graphics card would improve some performance but with the 32bit os limitation and the slow processor, it wouldn't help by much. http://i204.photobucket.com/albums/bb179/N406C/image-1.png~original
