Athens International Airport "Eleftherios Venizelos" (LGAV) began operation on 29 March 2001 and is the primary civilian airport that serves the city of Athens and the region of Attica. It is Greece's biggest airport and serves as the hub and base of Aegean Airlines and its subsidiary Olympic Air. The airport serves just under 13 million passengers annually and its name honours the Greek statesman Eleftherios Venizelos. As of 2013, Athens is the 35th busiest airport in Europe. In this lightweight scenery, this scenery tries to represent all the parking positions and general buildings needed for the virtual flight. All taxiways and night lighting are also included.
