Hi
I've been trying a circuit and landing with an ILS approach in the 737PIC using a tutorial provided. The CMD A is engaged after the takeoff and when approaching the airport with the localizer active, I click VOR LOC to line up with the runway. When the glideslope indicator starts to move down I click APP and then click the second autopilot CMD B. Unfortunately the first autopilot CMD A immedialely disengages. I understand from the manual, both autopilots must be engaged for an ILS landing.
I find the same problem when trying an autolanding using the FMC/CDU.
Can someone help me with this problem? Thanks.
