Hello, I'm new to online forums. I have had FSX for about two years now. I have a problem with night views in FSX. The color textures on the panels and seats of the aircraft look washy and weired. The clouds in the night sky look really bad, like someone painted them on with water colors and look fake. The colors in and around the aircraft just have a really nonrealistic appearance to them. I have windows 7 with EVGA GTX 480 graphics card, i7 980 hex core overclocked. My monitor is an ASUS VW246H "24. If I connect my office computer monitor, a "17 Gateway LCD HD to my flightsim computer, same problem, but when I connect my previous 5yr old flightsim monitor, a Samsung Syncmaster 930b "19 to it, everything looks really good in night views, no problems, more realistic textures and night sky. I don't believe it's the graphics card, maybe I just need to find the right monitor. This even occurd with my old computer which had a 9800 GTX card. Could anyone help me with this?
