I was planning on buying the components from US manufacturers anyway as it is much cheaper and getting a lot of stuff from stores on ebay. And how do you think that would run FSX? Would I not be better going with i7 though, I'm sure I could stretch to that and still be able to get the rest. I might be wrong though as I don't really know about all this hardware stuff.

Thanks, both of those are great :D Only thing is there is only sound coming from the right hand side of my headphones in the Dash 8 but I probably messed up installing it. will try and sort that later on :)
