Payware DC Designs F-4E is needed. This repaint pack shows two RF-4C Phantom II AF 69-0370 with serial 3885 and AF 68-0561 with serial 3432. The two aircraft from the 26th Tactical Reconnaissance Wing (26th TRW) were taking off from Zweibrucken AB for the last time. The 26th TRW's last aircraft were being flown to the United States following wing's inactivation on April 5, 1991. Both aircraft were used as target tugs and converted to QF-4C drones. They were finally shot down in 2014. Please note Due of missing reconnaissance RF-4 in MSFS I decided to use F-4E for repaints. Installation Unzip and move it to your MSFS Community folder. Enjoy! /images/notams/notams22/lami0223.jpgX-Plane 12 Flight Model Update - Supersonic Transition, Delta Wings and Mass Properties - X-Plane Developer. Oh my GOSH this is getting good. One of my favorite planes is the F-4 Phantom. And one of our alphatesters recently casually mentioned that he was an Israeli Air ForceF-4 Phantom flight instructor. I've been exchanging emails with himabout every 30 minutes or so, on average, for 12-hour-long days, forthe past 5 days or so. We have been doing DOZENS of changes of EXEsand ACFs to get the F-4 in X-Plane flying PERFECTLY. And the success we've realized is beyond my wildest expectations. More...

/images/notams/notams21/vsky0819.jpgThe VSKYLABS 'Test-Pilot': F-4E Project for X-Plane by LaminarResearch (Work In Progress). Development News! As noted, the project covers practically all of the F-4aircraft-systems, including normal and emergency operation modes. Later versions of the F-4E included Leading Edge slats system whichwas integrated into the Slats-Flaps system. The flaps and slats workedsimultaneously during takeoff and landing, while the automatic slatssystem provided (automatic) operation of the slats during inflightmaneuvering, improving maneuverability. The F-4E slats system includedtwo leading-edge slat sections for each wing (outer and inner). In normal inflight operations, the slats operated (automatically)as a function of Angle Of Attack. Above 11.5 units, the slat wereextended until AOA was reduced back below 10.5 units. Other modes ofoperation allowed manual extension of the slats, under certainairspeed conditions, and emergency extension as well. The Flaps-Slats system is being simulated to its full extent in theVSKYLABS F-4E. Another system worth mentioning at this stage is the Anti-Skidbraking system that detects skid initiation in the main landing wheelsand automatically releases brake pressure as a function of skidseverity. In the F-4, upon touchdown, the pilot is "standing on thebrakes" while the system provides shorter landing rolls (with theaddition of a braking chute deployment). The F-4 is a heavyaircraft. When landing with inoperative Anti-Skid system, excessivebraking will most probably lead to blowing up the tires....(this is ofcourse being simulated as well...). Stay tuned for more exciting development news, that will cover allsystems on board, bit by bit... Source VSKYLABS Announces F-4 Phantom II For X-Plane VSKYLABS Bringing Lifting Body To X-Plane

/images/notams/notams18/gas0124/gas0124.jpgThe Phantom was formally introduced to the public at the 1934National Air Races where, it would be safe to say, caused a near panicwith race goers with its style and innovations. It received its typecertificate number 552 on 8-18-34. The all metal framework wasunusually tough enough to withstand the stress of amateur aerobatics, but its intent was not for that purpose but to be a"let's-go-somewhere-fast" airplane powered by the 7 cylinder Warner"Super Scarab" series 50 engine producing 145 h.p. which provided forsea level maximum speeds of 168 m.p.h, cruising at 143 m.p.h. This was an all metal high-winged cabin monoplane with side to sideseating for two. The all metal "stressed-skin" fuselage offeredstrength, reliability and practically no maintenance. The rest of theaircraft was all metal as well. "No wood, no nails, no glue!" ThePhantom represented a milestone in light aircraft manufacturing andbrought the name Luscombe to prominence and high regard amongprivate-owner market, which remains to this day. Our representation ofthis iconic aircraft is fully animated with tool tips active in the VCcockpit for all animated parts. It is fully compatible with allversions of FSX and P3D. /images/notams/notams18/gas0124/phantom1.jpgThis Package IncludesHigh quality, fully animated 3D models representing Land, and Float Plane optionsFully Modeled Detailed Warner "Super Scarab" engineHigh Resolution (4096 x 4096) TexturesFully Animated VC cockpit with VC Cockpit Shadowing and smooth 3D modeled gaugesVC cockpit Custom Sound PackageVolumetric Propeller TexturesHigh Fidelity Sound FilesPrecision Flight DynamicsFully Animated Pilot FiguresPaint KitCustom installer for FSX, FSX SE and P3D Versions 1 - 4 /images/notams/notams18/gas0124/phantom2.jpgPurchase GAS - Luscombe Phantom /images/notams/notams18/gas0124/phantom3.jpg
