G3000 ACCURACY TESTED (Video 2). We fly the TBM930 into Dulles International Airport to test the precision and performance of the G3000 autopilot to execute an LPV (Localizer Performance with Vertical Guidance) approach to RWY 01C (KIAD). The Aircraft and Avionics Update 1 (AAU1) introduced on January 31, 2023 brings Microsoft Flight Simulator to an unprecedented level. With the AAU1 update, the G3000 is now the most advanced G3000 in the personal flight simulator. We put it to the test to determine the accuracy from start to finish following an RNAV (LPV) approach! Please consider a subscription to the channel. Very much appreciated! Tutorial: TDS Garmin GTNXi | Little Known [AWESOME] Features
Nels_Anderson posted an article in Featured
TDS Garmin GTNXi | Little Known [AWESOME] Features By thecorporatepilotdad The Garmin GTNXi by TDS Simulations is packed full of useful features for use in Microsoft Flight Simulator. This video features 3 little known features that I use quite often that may be helpful to others. 1. Loading an approach. Approaches with LPV minimums can be loaded into the GPS without navigating several menu screens. This method is a very fast way of entering an RNAV approach with LPV minimums. 2. Traffic Information. Did you know more information about nearby traffic can be discovered? 3. Missing airports or points of interest can be entered with"User Waypoints" with the aid of Google Earth or Google Maps. The Garmin GTN 750xi is shown, but this also works for the Garmin GTN 650xi by TDS. More information on the Garmin GTNXi for MSFS can be found athttps://www.tdssim.com/ thecorporatepilotdad Youtube channel The Corporate Pilot Guys Podcast About The Author This video is produced by thecorporatepilotdad. He has been a FlightSim.Com member for close to twenty years and using Flight Simulator since back in the day of FS98 and FS2000. He is also a professional pilot with over 7000 hours of real world flight experience ranging from Cessna 152s to super-mid size business jets. -
Why are there so many airports that can't be entered into the Garmin to fly direct to?

Hello, Is there a way to dim the Garmin PFD/MFD screen brightness? When flying at night, they are way too bright. I like the ability to adjust the panel and instrument lighting, but it has no effect on the screen brightness... Thanks.
