It was released last November for X-Plane, with the following information being provided: Explore Italy with the best VFR airport! The Aviosuperficie Alvaro Leonardi, awarded as the best touristairport in 2010, takes its name from a soldier(Medal of Valor) of theFirst World War. Located in Terni, Umbria, (50NM North from Rome andCiampino LIRA) is a landmark for those who fly over the natural andurban beauties of central Italy. A few minutes flight from the wonderful Tuscan hills, Lake Bolsena,Lake Trasimeno, the Gran Sasso National Park and the Marmore Falls,stopping by the Aviosuperficie Alvaro Leonardi is a must for those whofly from Florence (LIQN), Rome (LIRU/LIRA/LIRF), Pescara (LIPB) or theIsland of Elba (LIRJ). The airfield has an 870 metre long asphaltrunway with orientation 09/27 and an asphalt helipad. The preferredorientation for take-offs is 27, while for landings is 09. Announced back inSeptember, the scenery features Alvaro Leonardi Airfield (LIAA) inTerni, Italy. While the biggest airport in Terni province, it's stilla pretty small field, with only a single runway 9/27 of 870 meters(2854 feet) in length. Some new screen shots have just been posted andthe latest message says "LIAA Packaging Time!" Today theyhave briefly announced a new scenery project,Alvaro Leonardi Airfield(LIAA) in Terni, Italy.
