/images/notams/notams20/cosf0506.jpgWe're extremely sorry to have to announce that our planned two-dayFlight Sim 2020 show, which was scheduled to take place in earlyOctober at the RAF Museum Cosford in the UK, has been cancelled. With the ongoing uncertainty about the possibility of largegatherings taking place this year, possible travel problems and allthe other considerations which we're sure you're all aware of, we havesadly had to make the decision that hosting the show this year issimply not possible. With Flight Sim 2020 being a real highlight of our year, and one ofthe few occasions when the FS community can get together in person,we're all going to miss catching up with everybody this year. In the meantime, our best wishes to you all and we hope you arekeeping well. We'll look forward to catching up with you all againbefore too long! Source

/images/notams/notams20/show0406.jpgAs many of you aware, by this time of the year, we usually have theshow web site up and running, ticket sales live and we're announcingnew exhibitors and seminars on a regular basis. With the world a different place right now we're unable to do thatand as things stand we're on hold with pretty much everything to dowith the show, it would be foolish to press on and start sellingtickets and signing exhibitors up as things stand. Our venue (RAF Cosford) is currently closed and all big eventsright up until September have been cancelled. There is of course hopestill and we're in communication with the team at Cosford and we aregoing to hear more by the end of the month/beginning of next, at whichpoint we'll be able to tell you more. Apologies for this but there areof course far more important factors at play right now. This news is also posted on ourweb site here. Thanks to you all and for now, stay safe! Source

/images/notams/notams19/show0814.jpgFlight Sim Show 2019By Michael HaywardOn the 5th and 6th of October, Just Flight and PC Pilot held theirfifth UK Flight Sim Show, allowing both hardware and softwaredevelopers alike to showcase their products. /images/specials/fsshow19/t/flight-sim-show-2019-05.jpgAs an added bonus, this year's event was run over two consecutivedays! The previous four Flight Sim Shows had shown that the settingwas becoming increasingly popular, so in an effort to maximise theevent/capacity, an extra day was added. This provided greaterflexibility for people attending, with the possibility of making aweekend of it. In total, 35 companies attended and provided stands; while a fewothers roamed the venue and talk to visitors about what theyoffered. /images/specials/fsshow19/t/flight-sim-show-2019-03.jpgDuring the weekend, there were seminars from nine differentdevelopers: Laminar Research, Infinite Flight and ProSim, alldiscussing their different simulators, whilst Magknight, Just Flight,Orbx and Aerosoft, provided info on their upcoming add-ons. If thatwasn't enough, you then had Honeycomb Aeronautical showcasing theirall-new yoke and throttle system, while FSElite talked about how tointroduce new users into the world of flight simulation. As with previous years, I attended the show armed with questionsthat you, the community wanted to ask the developers. These questionswere asked in interview format, and then put together in a shortdocumentary-style video, giving you guys the chance first-hand to seewhat the developers have in mind for the future. flightsimshow.com Flight Sim Show 2018 Report And Interviews /images/specials/fsshow19/t/flight-sim-show-2019-01.jpg /images/specials/fsshow19/t/flight-sim-show-2019-02.jpg /images/specials/fsshow19/t/flight-sim-show-2019-04.jpg /images/specials/fsshow19/t/flight-sim-show-2019-06.jpg
