/images/notams/notams21/skyl0105/samos-1.jpgWe are there, at last! Samos International Aiport "Aristarhos of Samos" (LGSM), one of ourmost anticipated works, is ready and TOMORROW is the day! Get ready to challenge yourself with one of the most dangerousairports in the world! Even though its little size, this scenery was challenging tocreate, cause of the many changes that took place on the real airport, since the time we finished the 3D model. We kept finding things to addor to change, cause of the limited footage we managed to get in ourhands, of how the real airport looks like nowadays and this justifiesthe delay! But we think our team did a really good job in everyaspect, for the X-Plane 11 standards! /images/notams/notams21/skyl0105/samos-2.jpg /images/notams/notams21/skyl0105/samos-3.jpgIn other news: X-Plane 11: Secret Project: Well... /images/notams/notams20/skyl1125/skyline-1.jpgSince its launch, it has become very clear that Microsoft FlightSimulator has the potential to serve as the true next-generationflight simulator platform. In the spirit of embracing what's next, we are happy to announceKCVG Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport for MicrosoftFlight Simulator! /images/notams/notams20/skyl1125/skyline-2.jpgThis new version of KCVG is being developed entirely from theground-up to take advantage of all that Microsoft Flight Simulator hasto offer. In addition to the extensive use of high-resolution PBRtextures, users can expect some of the most accurate and detailed 3Dmodeling that we have ever created! In order to create the most detailed and realistic representationof KCVG possible, we have collected and taken thousands of on-sitephotos of the real airport, and most importantly of all - haveconducted an on-site survey of KCVG's terminals. Those local to or who have traveled through KCVG will know that theairport has been in a state of perpetual construction and evolutionfor the better part of the last decade, and as such, anyrepresentation of KCVG will be somewhat of a moving target. /images/notams/notams20/skyl1125/skyline-3.jpgAlthough we plan on creating a modern rendition of KCVG to reflect the ongoing development by Amazon and DHL, users will have the option to enable the airport's older terminals in order to relive KCVG's golden years! 2020 has been a challenging year for all of us. Despite these hardtimes, we have nobody to thank but the amazing flight simulationcommunity for their continued support! This airport will truly be something special and we hope that itbrings some much-needed happiness and optimism for the future to thisgreat community! Source
