/images/notams/notams21/simp0726.jpgTime for an update... Not a good one. SimUpdate 5 wrecked thisproject as it changed the AI traffic and encrypted the files we weredepending on. So at this moment this project is dead. For me this isjust a bummer and at this moment a loss of a solid day of work. ForJeff, who worked on this for months it is a massive blow to thegroin. Just imagine his position, how he feels. Now we have not given up. There are options but not as smooth and'simply' as we were aiming for. These are explored. Plans are made, spreadsheets that have costs and expected sales are being done. Weloved this project and if there is any way we can make it work it willbe done. But we need the sim to be a stable platform. So it could allbe taking a while. On behalf of Aerosoft and Jeff, sorry. Source

/images/notams/notams21/simp0726.jpgAerosoft Simple Traffic has just two jobs: To show correct liveries and correct traffic routes betweensuitable airports. So instead of seeing a row of imaginary airlines atFrankfurt International you see Lufthansa aircraft. And KLM aircraftat Schiphol, Delta at Atlanta, Air France in Paris, and United atO'Hare. You get the idea. Optimizes the frame rate by using only the lowest polygon versionsof the default MSFS AI models. Too detailed models for AI traffic, inour opinion, make it hard for complex scenery and super accurateaircraft to get enough resources. That is all. It does not promise more. It does not do more. It isnot the final AI Traffic tool we would all like to see in MicrosoftFlight Simulator but for many technical reasons that are not easy tocomplete at this moment. Simple Traffic is a quick fix, but we believeit simply does well. Instead of fake liveries, you see the correctones using the simplified default aircraft models. The product will beupdated regularly. It is that simple and that is why it is called Aerosoft SimpleTraffic and that is why it only costs €12.50 (plus VAT whenapplicable). It should be available soon. For now, enjoy this trailerand we'll have some images for you in the next few days. Please note that this product, created by Revolutions Simulations, was previously known as Framerate Friendly AI (FFAI). Source
