This is my scenery for Ingolstadt Airport in southern Germany. The scenery includes: - custom buildings made in FSDS - custom AI traffic - a more detailed landscape of the area around the Airport - a small Eurofighter factory - and some AI planes made by Florian Polzer (Flying_Bassplayer_2707)

This freeware add-on brings Tesla's Gigafactory 4 to MSFS. This massive car factory is located in Berlin-Brandenburg in Germany. The scenery isn't highly detailed. It looks good if you are departing or approaching Berlin-Schönefeld aiport. But if you are flying near the factory, it won't look very nice. Main features: Added custom 3d-object: Gigafactory 4 Added some standard scenery near the factory Added a POI Removed vegetation How to install: (0. Delete older versions of this add-on.) 1. Download the ZIP-file. 2. Open the ZIP-file. There should be a folder called "nfm-brandenburg-gigafactory4". 3. Drop this folder into your MSFS community folder. 4. Start MSFS. The add-on should work now. My Website My Instagram Created using assets from ambientCG.com(CC0). Have fun!

Krukenburg Castle is situated on a hill above the village of Helmarshausen, today part of Bad Karlshafen, in Northern Hessia (GER), north of Kassel-Calden airport. It is quite special in the way it was build. Central part of the castle is a church, built between 1107 and 1126. Its layout consists of four cross-shaped wings around a central rotunda, This design follows the layout of the Church of the Holy Sepulchre in Jerusalem. The abbot of the Helmarshausen Monastry - Wino - had brought the necessary architecural plans from a pilgrimage to Jerusalem around 1030. This scenery removes vegetation from the castle site and adds a model of the castle remains. For more information please read the README.TXT file contained in the zip-archive.
  4. /images/notams/notams22/nibh.jpgLandmarks of Germany: Now you can finally navigate in MSFS using all the famous and prominent landmarks that make Germany such a great place to visit. Castles, famous buildings, bridges, television towers, radio towers, water towers, radar towers, cooling towers, chimneys, antennas, solar parks, soccer stadiums and even barrage dams can be found at their exact positions all across the state. 11. /images/notams/notams21/wate1220.jpgStreamflow, or channel runoff, is the flow of water in streams, rivers, and other channels, and is a major element of the water cycle. Waterflowexpands the default rivers and lakes with smaller sidestreams. The record offlow over time is called a hydrograph. The way MSFS terrain looks as we seeit is because of water flowing over the terrains. This scenery adds those water features that have shaped terrain all aroundthe world. These are visible mostly everywhere you fly; they reflect sunlight and they are also visible on aircraft terrain maps. Connecting lakesand rivers through small to medium size streams. 15. /images/notams/notams21/tree0816.jpgIn MSFS 2020 railways and often roads are covered by trees when crossingthrough forests or areas where there are trees. The function of this sceneryis to clear misplaced trees covering the roads and railways and repave theroads with new asphalt texture. In this particular package trees are left on roads edges; the look is morerealistic; however some tree branches are a bit long and can still show onroads. This scenery also includes photogrammetry exclusion on roads; yetagain left on edges for more realism. Roads are now showing on the defaultMSFS VFR map and all cockpit mapping instruments. Compatible with any mesh / DEM scenery, waterflow packages and airportadd-ons scenery. This scenery is also very flexible either use rails/ roadstrees exclusion files; or just roads paving files or whole set. To be aware, we have added lots of data into this scenery; Germany is abig country with lots of roads and railways. This package includes all majorroads repave; motorways; primary; secondary; trunk; residentials; all theseroads are included. Bearing in mind loading into MSFS all these data at thistime takes longer than before; approximately 2 to 3 minutes longer. Framerate impact is none or very minimum. Coverage: Germany. Read please: Gain performance by reducing roads traffic. After theintroduction of update 5, the cockpit camera can get stuck with sceneryadd-ons when turned. It is realated to 'photogrammetry'. Switchingphotogrammetry to off can solve the problem; hopefully this will be resolvedwith update 6. We leave this note on this instructions to made youaware. What exactly does NightXP do to enhance the X-Plane lights system?NightXP V2 introduces new lamps into the existing ecosystem and isdesigned to work together with default lights. It can be used withVulkan or in OpenGL mode. It is designed to create those littledetails the night brings with its darkness in the nocturnal X-Planeworld. The lamps are strategically positioned to illuminate buildingswith emissive 3D light reflections taking advantage of new X-Planereflective surfaces. They are designed to be just a little bit biggerthan default lights to enhance their visibility and light. NightXP is not invasive scenery, it is designed to avoid lightovercrowding. NightXP targets urban areas where there are buildings, lit up buildings and roads only in residential areas for the wholecountry or US State they cover. For example, it will not add light onmotorways or major roads as X-Plane is already covered. Instead, itwill light up the residential roads, buildings, courtyards, alleyways, piers and depots to mention a few. NightXP is designed to make the most of X-Plane's new materialsfeaturing light reflections on the ground, water, ice, windows, roofsand any native X-Plane material designed to reflect light. NightXPworks hard at night and rests in the day when the lamps are stillvisible but in ‘Off’ mode. If you look on Google maps you will find the islands juststraddling the German/Holland border. The scenery consists of a number of islands with orthophoto sceneryand a number of airports that have been custom built. These are mostlyGA airports and a couple of gliding schools as gliding in the area isa popular pastime. I find flying VFR quite relaxing as you can(normally) get airborne a lot quicker than when flying the largerairliners. This was one of the main reason that I chose this productto review. InstallationInstallation is just a matter of unzipping the downloaded file toyou custom scenery folder in the usual manner. There is no activationprocess required but you will need 13.5 GB of hard drive space. In order for the scenery to run as smoothly as possible, you willrequire the following: Operating system: Microsoft Windows 7 / 8 / 10 (64 bit) / Linux / macOS 10.10+Processor: Dual Core CPU with 3.0 GHzMemory: 8 GB RAMGraphics card: 1 GB, DirectX 11DocumentationThe included manual is not that large, but it covers topics such asinstallation and system requirements - the graphic settings sectionwill be of interest to all users whether you are on a high end machineor one that is less powered. There is also a complete list of theincluded flight plans and how to import them into the GNS. You're alsoprovided with a number of liveries that you can put on the followingaircraft if you have them: the TorqueSim BN2 Islander, the Nimbus BN2Islander and the Carenado CT182T. The VideoThis short review video tries to show you what the scenery lookslike from a user's perspective. When I create my video reviews I alwaystry to do it from that point of view. Creating video reviews is timeconsuming but fun, so I hope you find the video useful. The culture, the food, thescenery, its history, it's all there to be experienced! Unfortunately,at the moment, I'm having to settle for a virtual tour of thisbeautiful city due to the fact that my real life is so busy atpresent! Hopefully, one day though, the 'MrYorkiesWorld' clan, willget to visit this stunning location for real! Up until a few weeks ago, I'd only really had the pleasure ofvisitingFrankfurtin P3D V4 (also by Aerosoft), but I'm excited to say that thanks to myfriends over at FlightSim.Com, I can now visit Aerosoft's version ofBerlin too, and I'm excited to be writing a review of this fantasticand very detailed piece of scenery for P3D V4. /images/reviews/berltege/t/aerosoft-mega-airport-berlin03.jpg /images/reviews/berltege/t/aerosoft-mega-airport-berlin04.jpg /images/reviews/berltege/t/aerosoft-mega-airport-berlin15.jpg /images/reviews/berltege/t/aerosoft-mega-airport-berlin16.jpgAs ever, I like to keep my reviews relatively short and to thepoint! However, unlike my previous reviews, I will not be including avideo. Instead I have decided to use a series of screen shots, which Ihope you will enjoy. With that said...let's get straight into it. Coverage Area, Detail And TexturesSo let's talk about scenery coverage. Upon first glance, it wasquite clear to see that the package included some surrounding areasaround the main Berlin Tegel Airport. The ground textures looked good, but were not perfect. I tend to use Orbx FTX Global, Vector and OpenLCEurope (although I don't currently have them installed in the sim),and these do help a little, but I still noticed some things were alittle blurry. The scenery also seems to have different types of textures comparedto those of Orbx. This is expected with most sceneries, however I didnotice that you can sort of make out pretty clearly the "lines" whereOrbx ends, and Aerosoft begins. I assume this could be worked on atsome point by the developer and possibly added as a fix of some kind, but this can, of course also depend on what other scenery packagespeople are using, and whether or not they are using Orbx productsetc. /images/reviews/berltege/t/aerosoft-mega-airport-berlin05.jpg /images/reviews/berltege/t/aerosoft-mega-airport-berlin06.jpgWhen it comes to textures, the actual airport itself boasts somereally nice, high-resolution textures throughout. The runways andtaxiways looked great, and the terminal buildings and jetways alsolooked stunning. These tend to look equally as nice in the daytime asthey do at night, and other products such as Chris Bell's Black Marblehelp to bring things together even more and make things lookamazing. An important factor to take into account, is that this scenery alsocomes with a pretty accurate AFCAD, but this can be improved on quitea bit with the help of a quick download from the Aerosoft Forums, andincludes more parking spots, etc. Performance And CompatibilitySo as expected from the title of this scenery, Aerosoft BerlinTegel Professional is specifically designed for Prepar3D V4. I'm not sureif this would work with any previous version of P3D because theproduct pageclearly doesn't state any other compatibility possibilities other thanP3D V4. /images/reviews/berltege/t/aerosoft-mega-airport-berlin07.jpg /images/reviews/berltege/t/aerosoft-mega-airport-berlin08.jpg /images/reviews/berltege/t/aerosoft-mega-airport-berlin17.jpg /images/reviews/berltege/t/aerosoft-mega-airport-berlin18.jpgMoving on to performance, and I have to say, I didn't really noticeany kind of performance drop. Even with quite a lot of traffic, andheavy clouds, frame rates stayed at a respectable level. However, Ihave heard that some users have experienced issues with frame rates, but on my system, running the latest version of the sceneryeverything was smooth. For reference, my system is as follows: IntelCore i9 9900k, a GTX 1080TI, and 6GB of RAM. Considering the size ofthe scenery, I was very pleased with the performance. Configuration ToolAerosoft (as with many of their recent sceneries) have included arather handy configuration tool for Berlin. This tool allows you toturn certain things 'on or off' in the scenery, such as staticvehicles, dynamic lighting effects, highway traffic, etc. /images/reviews/berltege/config.jpgIt's very easy to select the options you want and then save themwith just a few clicks. You can customize things exactly how you wantthem to be, including the option to enable or disable the PhotorealArea of the airport and some of the surrounding areas. A great ideaand something which will benefit those users will low end hardware. Features ListSo as ever, Aerosoft like to keep us in the know about whatfeatures they've included in their products before we purchase them, and the product page for this scenery gives a whole host ofinteresting features: AFD optimised, frequencies and approaches adapted based on recent chartsJetways are now movable via CTRL+JReworked ground layoutBuildings and objects optimised for Prepar3D V4 for increased performanceImproved lighting and added dynamic lightsRunway and taxiway lights compiled into one object, added day switches and corrected Mat and Ani (Flashes)Corrected parking positionsFixed terrain errorsOptimised AGNIS, lighter and more preciseOptimised AESLite for P3D V4 (shadow support, etc.)Extended Config tool "EDDT Traffic" /images/reviews/berltege/t/aerosoft-mega-airport-berlin09.jpg /images/reviews/berltege/t/aerosoft-mega-airport-berlin10.jpg /images/reviews/berltege/t/aerosoft-mega-airport-berlin19.jpg /images/reviews/berltege/t/aerosoft-mega-airport-berlin20.jpgSystem RequirementsNow onto the boring parts. For those of you who are interested inthe system specifics, Aerosoft have kindly listed these as well: Lockheed Martin - Prepar3D V4 Windows 10 (64 bit) CPU: Quad Core with 3.5 GHz RAM: 16 GB DDR4 RAM (2666 MHz) Graphics card: 4 GB VRAM, DirectX 11Disk space: 2.5 GB free disk spaceDownload size: 1.5 GB /images/reviews/berltege/t/aerosoft-mega-airport-berlin11.jpg /images/reviews/berltege/t/aerosoft-mega-airport-berlin12.jpgOverview / RatingSo it's time for the final verdict, and I have to say I wasimpressed with most parts of this product. The scenery is verydetailed, looks great and feels immersive, but some of the texturescould do with being improved on. Overall, I'm going to award this scenery a healthy 9 out of 10,with the only real downside being the above mentioned textures. /images/reviews/berltege/t/aerosoft-mega-airport-berlin13.jpg /images/reviews/berltege/t/aerosoft-mega-airport-berlin14.jpg/images/reviews/berltege/banner.jpgMrYorkiesWorld MrYorkiesWorld Youtube Channel Purchase Aerosoft Berlin-Tegel Professional

However, unlike my previous reviews, I will not be including avideo. Instead I have decided to use a series of screen shots, which Ihope you will enjoy. With that said...let's get straight into it.
