LAST EDITED ON Apr-24-02 AT 00:09AM (EDT)[p]Still, compare to me, you were in good situation. One time I was flying around (F-16 or 747, don't remember exactly which one), and ran out of fuel completely. Not a drop left. All tanks empty. ;-)

You've got roughly an hour of fuel left on board.

Yep, that is correct, about 6 gallons per hour in a C-152 in cruise speed...that doesn't look bad you know ;-) .

Well, I was flying London-Singapore yesterday with a 747 and ran out of fuel over the Indian Ocean.:D
So I had to stopover at a small airfield of the Indian Air Force on some tiny island - fuel left after landing: 0,5lbs.:D

Heck, with the fuel burn rate of a 152, you could keep some extra fuel in a 7-11 Big Gulp cup....:-lol :-lol
