Default My trip to Myrtle Beach! (56K)

On Sunday i flew down to Myrtle Beach, SC. I made a stop over at Newport News/Williamsburg Int'l to refuel before i got there. It was an awesome flight! See pics for more details.

Here is the route of flight.

FRG to PHF - JFK DIXIE V16 CYN V1 CCV

PHF to CRE - FKN FKN202 ZAGGY V1 ISO V1 CRE

    Here are the pics.

    Over NJ at 6,000.

    We are approaching Delaware

Check out that GS! Not bad, not bad at all!

    Overcast.

Descending to PHF, very beautiful place! Not too far from it has this beautiful mexican restaurant too. :9

That's the airport and we will be executing the ILS rwy 7 approach.

    Here is the approach chart.

Taxing to the ramp after landing.

Parked, i wish i was flying that instead! :o

So i got out, refueled and then on my way to CRE!

Just after liftoff from PHF, fantastic place!

Warships, we are now heading direct to FKN VOR

Thought this would make a cool picture. :)

Sometime after we are greeted with a sunset!

Later on we were cleared for the VOR rwy 5 approach at Grand Strand.

    On final.

    Short Final.

Here is a last pic of me coming back into FRG. Thank you for looking and i hope you enjoyed these pics. Myrtle Beach was awesome, too bad i couldn't stayed for long, the women to men ratio there is 10:1. =)

Kudos, It must have been a great flight, the pics say it all. I am sure the sunset during the actual flight must have been even more beautiful. Pic 14 looks like heaven, as sunlight beams out of it. Thanks for sharing your flight.

Nice photo journal. What kind of camera were you using to get the last photo?

In spite of the Lear and the Malibu what you were driving is what I would like to be driving since it is what I currently drive. Lears and Malibus are overrated.

The camera really isn't that fancy, its a Canon s-500, it's not the camera, it's the photographer!! haha.

Lears aren't overrated at all, why do you say that?
