I read recently that some scenery add-ons have textures in their scenery scpecifc folder that should be placed in the main FS9 texture folder. Having duplicates is actually a waste because it cause FS to load them in when it grabs a new scenery - something to that effect.

To that end, would it be smart or not to put aircraft sounds into the main FS sound folder? I did notice a problem loading sounds for one aircraft and after copying all the sound files to the main sound folder, there was no problem.

So, should I then empty all my aircraft sound folders into the main and leave only the config file in there?
