I have it and it's pretty good. I prefer it over the DF Archer which is a little long in the tooth.
Comes with in two versions (II and III). The Warrior III comes with quite a lot of goodies like custom radios and autopilot.

Sounds are OK but not as good as the DF sounds. They're not as throaty and you can sometimes hear the "cycling" as the same short clip of the engine noise is repeated over and over.

Flight modelling is supposed to be very good. Some RL Warrior pilots complained that it pitches down too much in the climb after take off, and that may be true. You need to add a LOT of trim and/or pull the yoke almost all the way back.

Exterior model is excellent. 2D panel not as good as DF. VC is quite good, the panel portion is very detailed but the interior is slightly less detailed than something like the Aerosoft Katana or Carenado Cherokee.

Thank you for your mini review. I have all of df planes and am spoiled with the quality.
Dreamfleet's new release this friday will be welcomed to my collection.

There is a version 1.2 upgrade in the works that will enhance the product and fix a few minor details from the initial release.

Long-time user of the DF/F1 Archer (my default plane until the Cirrus SR22 is released); very recent new user of the AS Warrior.
Right up-front and from the door, I am biased toward the DF Archer. Its age is a testament to its quality, despite lacking some current bells and whistles.
I am putting the AS Warrior through its paces, and I'm determined to be fair with it, but I'm fairly confident it won't supplant my PA28 of choice.

Yeah the DF Archer has a "personality" of its own or something.

Up until fairly recently it was also my plane of choice. However with planes like the Carenado Cherokee, Aerosoft Katana, Aussim Warrior, Flight1 C172 etc. its age (in flightsim terms) started to become painfully obvious which is why I hardly fly it any more. It still has the best sounds and probably the best 2D panel of any GA addon though.

Hi JimmiG how do you mean exactly about the DF Archer age. is it the model design or textures? i think it was first made for FS2002.

I believe that the Archer was released in the spring of 2002, so it's heading for being out for 3 years now.

"As employees, pilots are a difficult lot. They are masters of their vessels, answerable to no one for as long as the engines are running. Airline presidents have the power to control entire fleets, to decide where and when every plane shall fly. But once those decisions are made, no one tells the pilot how, or even whether, to fly."

The VC interior is sort of blurry, not enough polygons (pointy surfaces that should be rounded and smooth) etc. It was great when it was released but as jcmissionary said, it's been out for almost three years old now. An eternity in the world of computers. Still I think it's a must-have for any GA fan who wants a complete fleet.

yeah, the DF Archer is a little rough in the model dept. Otoh, its very easy on the framerates, and is otherwise a great plane to fly so it's still well worth owning. It remains one of my faves.
