Default Assuring that 3d effects are active in both windows and full screen modes.

I wanted to understand and clear the confusion in relation to pannels, and flat screen tubed monitors. I was of the understanding that 3d effects where not possible on a pannel only with a tubed monitor.

All said, how to I ensure that 3 d effects are active for both windows and full screen views.

    Thanks.

full screen mode utalises 3D acceleration, windowed mode does not, in windowed mode the 3d effects are handled by software, in full screen they are done by the graphics card. hence hardware and software mode.
