    Default F-14 Tomcat

Hi. Merry Christmas to all. I got a new game for Game Boy Advance as a Christmas present, and it includes flying the F-14 Timcat. Does anyone know how much fuel it burns with and without afterburners, because I always crash after running out of fuel.

    The game is "F-14 Tomcat".

I wish you would have gotten FS2004. Your screenshots would look awesome in that game. Merry Christmas to you too!

Okay.....but this isn't FS. This is however, aviation. This new game is called "F-14 Tomcat", and it's a Game Boy Advance game, not a computer game.

With afterburners, F-14 burns alot of fuel very fast
Without, F-14 burns much less fuel

Try only using the afterburners when the batteries are about to run out and you have to finish the mission quickly.

Okay, I know that, but do you know exactly how much fuel burns off?

This sort of information is probably on the web somewhere. Have you tried doing a Google search?

But more important, does the game actually accurately reflect the real aircraft? For a Game Boy game I'd have my doubts since it's more important that the game be play worthy than accurate. Didn't it come with some sort of manual to tell you how to fly the plane in the game?

Yeah, it did, but it didn't tell me how to shoot enemies or what to do when the carrier was under attack.

Well F-14 is just a port of the old super nes game Turn and Burn which i have. You can do refuels you know which I find useful. But there should be a screen with your fuel supply on it in your computer display. Try activating your atfer burners with that screen on to see how much you burn.
