Cockpit panel lights constantly on

Recommended Posts

Since the update I have found on several AC (C172 and Just Flight's PA-28) that the cockpit panel lights are on, and on full. Trying to turn them down is a pain :)

Is there a setting I can change to turn them off, or reduce them??

In the folder for each aircraft you should find an apron.flt and a runway.flt file. These can be opened with Notepad and edited. Scroll down to the [switches.0] section and change =True to =False for any switches that you don't want on when you start your flight, either at the ramp or on the runway.

Thanks Tim, that was what I was looking for. Unfortunately, it did not do anything. Found out it's another panel the glarescreen. I turned it WAY down, but I am not sure if there is an option to have it set at that setting upon startup.

This is what it looks like when I first get into the AC
