daspinall
A free flight from the tip of the Alaskan Aleutian Islands (Eareckson Air Station).... I climbed in the TBM and set off at dawn only to be welcomed by another magical red sky... It's easy to navigate, just follow the volcanos... it's the volcanos and varied weatherscapes that truly make this trip a one of a kind with spectacular views... Parts of the trip were poor visibility but by the time i approached Kodiak it cleared up which made for a good visual approach and landing..... BillD22
Great shots David. The Aleutians make for some great flying with spectacular scenery and challenging weather. Besides visiting there in MSFS I've been to Adak (PADK) RW.

daspinall
Thanks guys, there's something about the TBM that keeps me going back to it time after time...... Over the decades the 747 in any variant has been the love of my life... However, in msfs I've flown the TBM more that the 747.... and that's because I've been holding out for PMDG to produce the 747 for msfs... In the last PMDG update/bulletin, there was no mention of the 747 which makes me think they have abandoned the project altogether.... Although I have the 3 variants of the 737 I still long for a PMDG 747...... I think the TBM is the best stock plane ever in msfs, so far and suited for both vfr and ifr ASRock X570 TAICHI Mother Board AMD Ryzen 9 3900X 3.79 GHz *Overclocked* Corsair 240mm H100i ELITE CAPELLIX RGB Intel/AMD CPU Liquid Cooler Corsair DOMINATOR PLATINUM RGB 64GB 3600MHz *Overclocked* MSI NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3090 Ti 24GB SUPRIM X Ampere. 1000W PSU. Rupert
Great shots David. The Aleutians make for some great flying with spectacular scenery and challenging weather. Besides visiting there in MSFS I've been to Adak (PADK) RW. I agree, looking great! I haven't visited the Aleutians with MSFS but I have RW in a H-46 and also several times using various flight sims. Your morning sky shots are beautiful. Being an old chopper guy I usually fly low and slow.
