bachi
Hi, Avid user of FSX-Se over the years, reluctantly decided to forego FS2020 for the foreseeable future. Just noticed Steam have X Plane @ £31 given that I really like the Missions aspect of FSX would you recommend x Plane to see me through for a bit `til I have more confidence in FS2020. thanks in advance
flytv1
Hi. If you have FSX set up properly, scenery, addons... you will likely get no additional benefit from XPlane. If you want to try XPlane you can purchase XPane 12 beta and also get access / product code for XPlane 11, I am not sure if that is true for Steam also? which I would use, XP12 is still in a stage that is not practical for most users. Needs a very powerful computer and a lot of polish logic in it at this stage. Looks someone is just trying new things, trying to keep up with the jones / assobos, that make no practical sense / difference.
transcontinental
Hi, X-Plane has a demo option, why not try the demo to see if it's what you're looking for. Also look at your hardware, if you have the ability to run Vulkan or metal, you'd benefit in making the move from a dead platform like FSX to X-Plane.
