Struggling to capture gps VFR flightplan

Hi all,

There seems to have been an update to the g1000 which adds a "TIME" waypoint into the climbout phase. I can no longer seem to capture the gps as it is always pointing back to the "TIME" waypoint.

This is flying the default C172.

Anyone else having difficulty?

Ok, stand down. I figured it out. If I engage the autopilot before getting to the first waypoint all is ok.

I now need to remind myself how to change the active leg on the flightplan so that I can capture it further down the route if required.
