What type of aircraft? Commercial covers a lot. Big jets like the 737/A320, turboprops? VirtualCol has their ATRs for free and they have virtual cockpits. Remember this is FS2004, so as for freeware with VC, your options are somewhat limited with airliners. The Posky VC for there 777s is excellent and the Project Airbus VC for there 380s is pretty good too. Can really recommend the 777 VC though.
