Some old FS9 shots

Recommended Posts

In reaction to the discussion in another thread on FS9, I did some digging and I found some really old screenshots from my FS9 days.

I started painting aircraft with FS9, and was also looking for scenery enhancements and better cloud textures to try and make my shots as realistic as possible. In real life I'm a geologist, often studying the landscape, so the default textures just were not good enough for me, so I looked for photoreal ground textures, or I tried to obscure them with clouds or snow.

Here's a few of my shots, hopefully showing that FS9 could look quite nice:

this last one was from my last flight in FS9, before I moved to FSX (and P3D and MSFS), which gave more possibilities ground-texture wise, especially with ORBX textures, and better aircraft models as well. It was the A2A P-47 that lured me over..

If you still have nice FS9 shots, feel free to add them.
