Unsure if I will be able to run it on my system below: • AMD FD8350FRHKBOX FX-8350 FX-Series 8-Core Black Edition Processor (4 - 4.2 mhz) • Raedon RX580 2 mhz, 8 MB • 24 GB RAM • 500 GB Kingston SSD • Win 10 pro Any ideas before I buy! What I would recommend is that you sign up for the Xbox game pass (trial) It costs just £1 / $1 for a month’s trial. You will be able to try MSFS (standard edition) and see how it looks / performs for yourself. plainsman Posted May 4, 2022 Share Posted May 4, 2022 Your CPU is older architecture which may be a problem and it is about 16% below the minimum spec Ryzen 3 1200, when running two cores. Your RX580 is a step above the minimum RX570. I suspect you can run it, but I would expect fps limitations even on low-medium settings. If you mostly fly in rural areas, you may be OK. If you plan to spend time over Paris, London, or NYC or LA, you may be not be able to tolerate the low frame rates. Also, you will only be able to run 1080p.
