Herc79 Posted May 1, 2022 Share Posted May 1, 2022 Is this Asobo default scenery? or 3rd party addon? So there are a couple of large mines in northern Alberta. If you start at YMM Fort MacMurray Alberta, fly NNW for about 20 miles and you will start to see features of the Suncor and Syncrude bitumen mines, Tar Island is in the middle of the two. Go a bit further to Fort Mackay and you will see the CNRL Albian and Horizon mines around 40 to 50 miles. Some can be somewhat deep, but they are quite large operations.
