FrankPilot
Come visit 1929 Transcontinental Air Transport (TAT) and see how TAT formed the first airways airline passenger route across the USA using Ford Trimotor aircraft and innovative systems for flying and for passengers. Called the "Lindbergh Line" it involved 2 days of combined travel by air and train. This Part 2 video covers Waynoka to Columbus. Part 1 covered Los Angeles to Clovis. Clovis to Waynoka was by overnight train, as was Columbus to New York/Washington DC. The end of the Part 2 video discusses the even earlier USA airmail route using hundreds of beacons and concrete arrows. Hope you enjoy. Cheers.
