Thread: Bare Minimum setup?

    Default Bare Minimum setup?

    Unusual request from a Newbie.
I've just started working on Instrument Rating for full scale aircraft (Cessna 172)
I want a basic flight Sim to practice my Instrument Scan.
I don't need scenery. I don't need multiple aircraft. I need a couple of airports with instrument approaches.

I would appreciate any advice on software that might run on my Laptop with a USB joystick plugged in.

I would recommend getting FSX Steam Edition.https://store.steampowered.com/app/3...Steam_Edition/
Mr Zippy Sent from my keyboard using "Whackamole", NudgeAKey + 2 Fingers

No flight Sim installed until I get a new computer.

Or P3D... but FSX is the first choice.
