N069NT
Earlier this week Newegg ran a promo along with Gigabyte to discount their Aorus FOU48 OLED monitor which uses the well proven LG C1 panel. It was $400 off (USD) between promo code and rebate. I couldn't pass it up. What most impresses is the dark inky black levels that I have not experienced since the CRT days and the likes of FS2000. Night flying specifically and the clarity of the cockpit LCD backlight gauge contrast. Best $800 I've ever spent, but burn-in is always in the back of mind. I was just wondering if anyone else is using an OLED panel and what precautions they are taking for burn-in prevention? I had a plasma years ago as a TV and for Playstation gaming and it got burn-in over time. i7 11700K @ 5.0GHz, ASUS Z590-Plus TUF Gaming, Noctua NH-D15, 2x16GB G.SKILL TridentZ 4000, EVGA RTX 3080 Ti FTW3, Super Flower 850W, SilverStone Redline SST-RL06 PRO case, Samsung 980 2TB M.2 (OS/MSFS), Gigabyte Aorus 48" OLED 4K 120Hz + LG 32" UN32650-W 4K monitors, Logitech Yoke + throttle + CH Pro Pedals
LJ45man
Your monitor looks great! I too have purchased the Aorus FOU48 monitor. It really produces a quite stunning display. A link to my current setup is here: https://www.dropbox.com/s/5xe68zsanh237ug/Current.JPG?dl=0 One article on burn-in I found somewhat helpful is here: https://www.howtogeek.com/687180/oled-screen-burn-in-how-worried-should-you-be/ My next task is to port the FMC CDU out to a 10" touch screen.
