ster100
joystick as a replacement for pedals and steering wheel? What do you think?
JSkorna
Joystick can replace the steering wheel but not the pedals. So go with joystick and pedals. http://www.air-source.us/images/sigs/000219_195_jimskorna.png
FrankPilot
Yes from me. Had EVERYTHING over the years, but now just prefer a joystick, keyboard and mouse. There is a limited envelope of realism in a Sim and I find all the extra gear does not really widen that envelope. But it is really simply a matter of personal preference - each to his own. I may be biased because I fly recreationally for real and get my hit/kicks that way! Also I split my time between 2 properties and wherever I am I must have my Sim for my daily hit! So portability is also a thing for me. Cheers. Frank’s MS Flight Sim https://youtube.com/channel/UCqCzobOlQLeGycCFnavVrPg
johnost
I have tried them all, and have now settled for a HOTAS setup without pedals. It should be said, however, that I am no RW pilot, so I am not hampered by the need for reality.
