Rick: I installed a small FS9 file called "White Lightning" in FSX. Works OK, gives a "longer lasting" flash, so much easier to capture in a screenie! it's worth to try it out.:)

WhitE Lightn'in.. Replacement Lightning effects FS9

 

Open the Effects folder here and copy all the files and overwrite them into your FS9/Effects folder

 

To return to normal..use the Effects Default BackUp and overwrite those back in..

If you have other Lightning replacement effect addons,take note and back those up first..

 

Copy folder (White LightN'in FliGHt) into your FS9/Flights folder

 

Go to select a flight in fs9 and find (White LightN'in FliGHt) for a demo flight

It's a simple overwriting of the default lightning if I remember wel.:) So save the original and you're ready. And again: it works perfect in FSX! Edited January 22, 2022 by peer01
