ye oulde sims..

..I notice quite a few people are still enjoying the older sims, like FSX and FS9, and I came across a few old screenshots from my FS9 days. One of the things I never liked in FS9/X/3D were the ground textures, so I was always looking for decent ground textures, especially photoreal, and ig=f they weren't there, I'd try to hide them in clouds.

Let me know what you think?

Great "old fashioned" pics you posted JK, love them!:cool: I never liked the defualt FS9 ground textures either, but I came from FS98..... 2004 is still a great sim and so is FSX. The only reason I'll stick to FSX is because of my huge prop hanger (310 GB). :D

what, FS9, or the F-86?

I switched to FSX around 2010, and then to P3D in 2017 I think

Yep, I've tired them all including the new one. But I still find P3D to be my favorite. Having said that, I have so much invested in ORBX scenery I could probably have flown to a lot of places RW for what they cost me in scenery.

I truly can't believe or understand why MSFS doesn't bite the bullet and make multiple screens work in their new sim. Microsoft and everyone else has done that for decades.

Being an old chopper guy I usually fly low and slow.
